Parent & Teacher Organization

The PTO at St. John’s is a group of parents committed to enhancing St. John’s School. We invite you to attend our meetings, which are held the second Tuesday of the month beginning at 5:30 pm and last 30-45 minutes (we will also continue to offer a Zoom option if you would like to attend that way). We are very aware of everyone’s time commitments so we keep our meetings to a minimum whenever possible. We correspond frequently via email and Facebook and include meeting minutes in the school newsletter so that everyone can stay up to date on what is going on even if you can’t be there.


Through our fund-raising efforts we help purchase some of the “extras” for our school, provide fellowship and networking for St. John families, and appreciation for the staff. We host the Back-to-School Pool Party in August for new and returning students and their families. We act as school ambassadors to new students and their families by answering questions they may have about St. John’s.  We also offer the Little Caesars Pizza Kit Fundraiser two times per year (fall/spring) and kits are ordered online and delivered directly to your home. This allows us to share the fundraiser with our family and friends that may live out of town! Secret Santa is in December and this allows our students to shop for their families for Christmas! We have one major fundraiser each year, Mardi Gras, which is a fun family event with auction items and raffle items. Donations are made by our school families and businesses from the local area and from around the state. It is a great event for our students and school family!
