This week Dr. Heller shared some of the activities our upper elementary students are doing in their music classes.
- Students in grades 4-6 know the names of all 73 books in the Bible . . . they have learned a wonderful song that has helped with the process.
- Grade 4 students are learning about the musical staff and how notes are placed to show the direction of the melody.
- Grade 5 students are learning a song which will help them to remember our fifty states.
- Our Sixth Graders are learning about Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, a musical work that uses various instruments to represent the main characters.
