WHAT IS TRIP?
T.R.I.P stands for Tuition Reduction Incentive Program.
T.R.I.P is based on using certficates to pay for everyday purchases. These certificates can be used just like cash. You don't have to buy anything extra or pay a penny more and you make your purchases whenever you choose.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Participating families submit their orders with payment by a specified day once a week.
2. Then the orders are placed with the participating businesses at a discount.
3. Participating families may pick up their orders the following week on a specified day.
4. Orders may only be picked up by an adult. They will not be sent home with a student.
5. The amount of the discount(less 1% for operating expenses, and 1% for a Scholarship Endowment Fund for parishioner school families) is applied as a credit toward the participating families tuitions.
HOW TO GET STARTED
Anyone may enroll in the T.R.I.P. program. Those without students may participate and their reduction percentage may be used to help a specific familly or as a gereral donation to the tution assistance program. You may also bank your percentage for future use.
TUITION CREDIT
Tuition credit will be issued twice a year, January and August.
ORDERS
Orders with payment may be sent to school with your child or brought to the school office. Orders must be received by 9:00 A.M. each Thursday. Payment must be made by check and accompany each order. Checks must be made payable to ST. JOHN ELEMENTARY T.R.I.P for the full cash value of your order.
